Carolyn is always eager to help us with any question we may have.  Should she not know the answer, she will do research to find the answer, not just refer me to a toll free number.  She also provides us with at least an annual review of our coverage, unsuring we are offering the best coverage options to our employees at all times.  We are a small company, however, she always finds the time to help us.

I first became acquainted with Byham Insurance Services, and more specifically with Angie Niedermeyer,  when I retired and became eligible for Medicare.   In my first meeting with Angie she quickly  and efficiently evaluated my health insurance needs and narrowed down the choices for drug coverage and medigap insurance so that the selection process was surprisingly painless and quick. What I expected to be a long and confusing process was quick, efficient, and painless.   Despite the fact that she is probably younger than my own children, I quickly came to realize that she knew what she was doing and she was definitely my advocate.

In the course of the insurance selection process, Angie became aware that I had been denied long term care coverage by several carriers for reasons that to me were not logical.  She took on the task of  researching  coverage from additional carriers, encouraged me to apply to one she had contacted and presto, I obtained the coverage I wanted.

But the real payoff in dealing with the Byham agency became clear to me during the first year of  coverage from my three new policies.  I casually mentioned in an email to Angie that I was a bit shocked at the amount of my co-pay on one of my prescriptions.  In less than two days the pharmacy called me and told me that after checking (at Angie’s request), they discovered an error and called to tell me they  had a $110 refund check waiting for me.  On three  other occasions I was confused by requests for payments by my insurance carriers.   In response to my emails to Angie, I quickly learned that the carriers had made some errors and in two out of the three instances I owed nothing at all.

Because of these experiences, I now consider the Byham folks to be exemplary in their dedication to good and prompt service to their clients.   They have quickly earned my confidence and trust.   I am relieved to know that I have  some real savvy advocates to work with me and look out for me with respect to my health insurance  needs.  For me, Byham Insurance quickly made its way onto  my short list of “Go To” people. These “Go To” people are the time-proven folks such as  my appliance repairman,  new-car salesperson, realtor,  plumbing supply store, financial advisor, etc., that  know I can rely on and trust  to promptly take care of my needs and look out for my best interests.   They are experts so I don’t need to be.

Sincerely,

Sam
